Snohomish, Washington

WELCOME HOME

Whether it's the taste of your grandmother's famous pumpkin pie, the smell of a fresh cut tree from your favorite tree farm or the hoppy bitterness of a local craft beer shared with friends, we know that these are just a few of the reasons why you choose to come home to Snohomish for the Holidays.

So, if you are making your plans, then let us help remind you of the great restaurants, endless shopping, and the variety of small-town traditions that make Snohomish what it is.

Whether you choose to come for the day or for the season, we just want to say "Welcome Home."

SNOHOMISH GIVING TREES

November 9th - December 12th

We are excited to reveal our Snohomish Giving Trees. Amid everything going on in the world we wanted to bring the joy of giving back into our community. From November 12th – December 12th you will find Christmas trees on the sidewalks at major intersections that are decorated with giving tags filled with needs from varying local charities. We have included everything from pets to vets, please help us fill the needs of those in our community, grab a tag, purchase to items, and return them to Sprig Flower Co. or Randolph Cellars any day of the week or bring them to the town tree on December 12th from 11am – 5pm.  You may also make a cash donation via HDSA if you do not have time or cannot shop and we will do the shopping for you. We are encouraging all shoppers to shop local within the Snohomish community.

All potted trees generously donated by McAuliffe’s Valley Nursery and will be auctioned off in early January.

HERE COMES SANTA!!!

November 28th

Santa will still be making his annual appearance in Historic Downtown Snohomish for one weekend only! The specifics have changed a bit recently so please read on.

Santa Rides into Snohomish
Santa will be riding into town at 10:30am on Saturday 11/28 led by one of his elves and our local llamas.  Kids make sure to wave as he cruses through town!

Come say Hi! to Santa
Santa will then go to Randolph Cellars where he will be visible in the window from 11am – 3:45pm on Saturday for pictures and greetings.  Santa will be sitting in the window and children can talk to him through hand-held radios! Since this is different from what kids may be used to when visiting Santa in the past, we ask that you prepare them for the engagement so that they understand that they will not be able to make contact with Santa (we need to keep Santa safe so he can deliver all of those toys!)

Story Time with Santa
At 4:30pm on the Saturday the 28th, the Historic Downtown Snohomish Association will host Story Time with Santa, via live stream on both Facebook and Instagram, so be sure to tune in!

VIRTUAL TREE LIGHTING

November 28th

The Annual Snohomish Christmas Tree Lighting has gone Virtual this year! Join us online as we live steam the Christmas tree lighting and holiday music via Facebook and Instagram.  We can't wait to see how many of you tune in!
