First Street Trick or Treat
Grab your costumes and candy bags—it’s time for a spooktacular stroll down First Street! Join us for a beloved Snohomish tradition as local businesses open their doors for an afternoon of festive trick-or-treating. From ghouls and goblins to superheroes and storybook characters, all are welcome!

What to Know Before You Go
Friday, October 31st | 3–6 PM | Downtown Snohomish
To help make this year’s Trick or Treat on First Street safe and fun for everyone, the City of Snohomish is working closely with the Snohomish Police Department, Fire District 4, and the Snohomish Lions Club.
Here’s what to expect:
🛑 Safety First
Police will be stationed at key intersections to help manage traffic and keep pedestrians safe.
Some crosswalks will be temporarily closed to improve flow and visibility.
Cedar Avenue (between First and Pearl) will be closed to vehicles and the Carnegie Building will be open as a safe meeting spot for families.
➡️ Trick-or-Treat Flow
To help with crowd movement, families will be encouraged to walk westbound on the north side of First Street and eastbound on the south side, following the direction of traffic.
🦁 Friendly Faces Along the Way
Volunteers from the Snohomish Lions Club will be stationed throughout downtown to assist with pedestrian flow and help ensure a safe experience for all.

Participating businesses will have a “First Street Trick or Treat” decal in their window—those are your candy stops!
